Team Selection

Be a high school underclassmen

(current HS seniors are not eligible to play)

Have the desire and the potential to play college lacrosse.
Commit to and attend all Team Carolina events.
Have a great attitude and be coachable.
Be dedicated to working hard.
Love the game of lacrosse.
Be recommended by their high school head coach.

Candidates that meet the above criteria should start the selection process by following the steps below:

  • STEP 1. Each candidate must start with a written recommendation from your head lacrosse coach that should be received by Team Carolina no later than November 15th.

  • STEP 2. After you have been recommended by your coach three other coaches will be contacted by Team Carolina.  These three coaches must attest to your ability to play for Team Carolina.
  • Step 3. Attend the scheduled on-field try-outs.  The Team Carolina staff will invite the top candidates to a pre-season and post-season try-out.  Information on the try-outs is under Combine Info above.  These try-outs are by invitation only.

While select players may be formally invited throughout the year,

the final team roster will beposted on or before June 1.
